Project READ training opportunities included:
- Derbyshire ECaT: Every Child a Talker (EYFS)
- Talking Strategies (EYFS/ KS1 and KS2)
These courses were designed to equip teachers with subject knowledge, skills and practical approaches to teach spoken language skills effectively throughout school, drawing on research-informed practice. In addition, Talk Boost training enabled schools to deliver a structured intervention for KS1 and KS2 pupils who need more focused instruction to develop communication skills.
