Vocabulary

Project READ’s School Improvement Reading Programme: Developing Vocabulary from EYFS to Year 6 was a 9 month programme designed to develop leadership skills. Each School Lead participated in 3 training days and benefited from in-school support from one of Derbyshire’s Specialist Leaders of Education. Drawing on research-informed practice, the programme aimed to equip schools with knowledge, skills and practical approaches to boost word-learning and narrow the ‘word gap’.
