Phonics

Project READ’s School Improvement Reading Programme: Effective Phonics in EYFS and KS1 was a 9 month programme designed to develop leadership skills. Each School Lead participated in 3 training days and benefited from in-school support from one of Derbyshire’s Specialist Leaders of Education. Drawing on research-informed practice, the programme equipped schools with knowledge, skills and practical approaches to teach phonics effectively in EYFS and KS1.
